U / V Notchs Charpy Impact Specimen
Brief Introduction
The Charpy impact test is a standardized high strain-rate test which determines the amount of energy absorbed by a material during fracture. This absorbed energy is a measure of a given material’s notch toughness and acts as a tool to study temperature-dependent ductile-brittle transition. It’s widely applied in steel industry, university experiment, research department. According to standard dimension of Charpy impact specimens as following;
Materials of the impact specimen
1, Ordinary Cast Iron HT150 impact specimen
2, Low Carbon Steel Q235 impact specimen
3, Alloy Steel 40Cr impact specimen
4, Medium carbon Steel 45# impact specimen
5, Alloy 20 Steel 20# impact specimen
